The Leathersellers’s Federation of Schools wishes to appoint a Data and MIS Lead to join our Federation Team. Our priority is to improve data quality whilst reducing the volume of data we gather. We are looking for someone who shares that vision, and who can work with us to flesh out a strategy to achieve this.

Created in 2008, the Federation educates 2,800 students in Lewisham and comprises Prendergast School, Prendergast Vale School and Prendergast Ladywell School. The group is a hard federation made up of both voluntary aided and foundation schools and, as such, benefit from being more autonomous than other groups. The Federation enjoys a close relationship with The Leathersellers’ Company which dates back to the 15th Century.

The successful candidate will have the technical skills and knowledge to lead and manage the data strategy across the Federation, communicate technical information to non-technical users and improve the client journey of all stakeholders. We are less interested in management experience and more interested in your potential and readiness for a Federation-wide role. Some experience of school data management is required; however, we are very open to applications from current data managers looking to progress in their careers.

You will be responsible for the line management of the Data and Exams team and the Office Managers across the Federation.

This is an exciting time to join the Federation as we look to strengthen and develop our offer to the children and young people we serve.

Please note CVs are not accepted.

The Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and all employees are required to have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Appointment will be subject to qualifications, experience checks and satisfactory references.
