We wish to appoint an outstanding Cover Supervisor to our school.
The post holder will oversee classes as they undertake work set in the short-term absence of the class teacher. In periods where cover is not required, the successful candidate will support in the classroom or elsewhere in the school as directed.
We are keen to fill this post with an enthusiastic, creative individual who can relate positively to children. The post will offer the opportunity to work across the Key Stages in the primary phase. The position is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in education.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a flexible and reliable approach. You will have experience of working in a school environment with children and have a commitment to their welfare, education and development. Salary: Scale 5 (point 13 - 15) £27,024 - £28,005 pro-rata.
Hours: 35 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time only plus 5 Inset days)
Prendergast Primary School is part of Prendergast Ladywell School, an all-through school from EYFS to Year 11. The primary phase benefits from a purpose built primary building, as well as a stunning outdoor space, which includes specifically designed play areas for Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as well as the school's own Nature Reserve.
