We are seeking to appoint an innovative teacher to implement, lead and teach our new BTEC Level 3 Media Studies or Cambridge National as part of the English curriculum area. The ability to teach another subject would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is committed to securing high standards of learning and teaching in order to raise academic achievement. The post holder will have the opportunity to work in our brand new high tech Innovation Hub, fully equipped media suite and refurbished sixth form area.

The post is suitable for a fully qualified teacher looking to take a step into a middle leadership role and develop their career in an environment offering outstanding training and progression programmes to all. A higher TLR may be available for an additional responsibility.

It is one of the most successful schools in Lewisham. Awarded its third Outstanding OFSTED grading in a row in November 2013, the school has been leading girls’ education in Lewisham for over 125 years.

We are committed to providing excellent CPD for aspirational Middle Leaders and offer the accredited National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders (NPQML) to all Middle Leaders.  For all new staff we offer a comprehensive and supportive induction programme.  The successful candidate will also have access to a rich and varied CPD programme within the school and across the Federation.

You will have the opportunity to work with a forward thinking staff and school leadership team who have students’ wellbeing, development and progress as their core purpose.
